I wonder if we have a status on PROJECTGRIDWORKER, which went down few weeks ago. Also, is it possible to run Linux on PROJECTMYSQLSERVER? It appears that in order to run our java programs on it, we have to modify/port the underlying scripts. We’re really have no time to do such a thing. It will be much easier if all grid machines are consistent and run on standard operating system. I’d strongly recommend we standardize on Linux for all of our production and development grid/non grid, as it is consistent and seems to be the industry standard. Apparently (and it comes as no surprise, again), I can list as an intellectual ally one Anthony Bourdain : Chocolate martini : Both chocolate and liquor are good in bars, but ordering them together announces that you don't like or appreciate either.
